How to Check Your Cash Back Status
- Log into your account at Rakuten.com
- Click on your Account
- Select Cash Back Activity (the dashboard that displays all your cash back transactions and their current status)

Processing
Soon after you place an order, the Cash Back is processing. This means that we're waiting on the store to send us the details. This typically takes 24–48 hours.
Example: You just completed a purchase at a partner store and the transaction appears in your activity within a day or two.
Pending
After the store sends us your order details, your Cash Back is pending. This waiting period, typically 30–90 days, exists in case of returns, exchanges, exclusions or other changes to your order. How long does it take for pending Cash Back to be confirmed?
Example: Your order shipped and the store reported the sale to Rakuten, but the return window hasn't closed yet.
Confirmed
Cash Back was added to your confirmed balance, and will be included in your next payment.
Example: The store's return period has passed and your purchase is finalized, so the Cash Back is ready for payout.
Ineligible
This order isn’t eligible for Cash Back. This can happen for a few reasons, like returns, exclusions, using coupons not found on Rakuten and more.
Example: You returned the item, used an unauthorized coupon code, or purchased an excluded product category.
