How to Earn Cash Back?

At Rakuten, we don’t ask you to fill out forms or earn points. Earning Cash Back with us is as easy as 1-2-3:

1. Start at Rakuten: On the Rakuten website or in the Rakuten App, click the store where you want to shop.
2. Shop Like Always: Place an order and we’ll automatically add Cash Back to your account.
3. Choose How to Get Paid: We’ll send your Cash Back via PayPal or check.

That’s all you have to do.

Once the store lets us know that you’ve made a purchase, we add your Cash Back to your account and notify you. It usually takes a little time for the store to confirm that your purchase was completed. Depending on the store, this can take from a few hours to several days.

Every three months, we send you the Cash Back you’ve earned, either in a Big Fat Check or via PayPal. If Cash Back for an order is still pending approval, it will carry over to your next payment.

I made a purchase but forgot to shop with Rakuten. Can I still earn Cash Back on that?

Unfortunately, you can earn Cash Back only by starting a Shopping Trip with Rakuten. We have no way to add Cash Back after a purchase has already been made.
