Making Sure Your Cash Back Button Is Up to Date

Be sure you have the latest version of the Cash Back Button so you don’t miss out on savings! The easiest way to do this is to turn on automatic updates for your browser.

Chrome

Chrome turns on automatic updates by default. Browser extensions automatically update daily.

To manually update all your extensions at once:

  1. In the address bar, enter chrome://extensions/ and press return.
  2. In the upper-right corner, select the toggle next to Developer mode to turn it on.
  3. Select Update from the bar that appears at the top.

Now, all your extensions will then be up to date.

Edge

Edge turns on automatic updates by default.

To manually update all your extensions at once:

  1. In the address bar, enter edge://extensions and press return. Or select the three dots for Settings and more and select Extensions.
  2. In the lower-left corner, select the toggle next to Developer mode to turn it on.
  3. Check the boxes for the updates you want to make and click “Install updates.”
  4. Select Update in the upper-right corner.

Now, all your extensions will be up to date.

Firefox

To turn on automatic updates for Firefox:

  1. In the address bar, enter about:addons and press return.
  2. Look for the Cash Back Button and select the extension name.
  3. Scroll down to Allow automatic updates and select Default.

Safari

All Safari extensions installed through the App Store are automatically kept up to date.

To manually update your extensions:

  1. Select Safari from the top menu bar.
  2. Select Safari Extensions to open the App Store.
  3. From the menu on the left, select Updates. You'll now see if an update is available for any of your extensions.
